‘Eight Men Out’ Stars Cusack, Rooker To Reunite At Wizard World Philadelphia, June 3-4

The 1988 feature film Eight Men Out, a favorite among baseball fans, chronicled the 1919 “Black Sox Scandal” based on the Eliot Asinof book. Now two of its stars will reunite when John Cusack (Buck Weaver) and Michael Rooker (Chick Gandil) appear at Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia, this weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.

The duo will greet fans, sign autographs, pose for photo ops and conduct back-to-back interactive Q&A’s on Saturday (Rooker at 1 p.m., Cusack at 2 p.m.). Cusack will appear on Saturday and Sunday, , while Rooker is scheduled to attend Friday through Sunday.

Other celebrities schedule to attend Wizard World Comic Con Philadelphia include Jesse Eisenberg (Batman v Superman, The Social Network), Chuck Norris (The Delta Force, “Walker, Texas Ranger”), Gene Simmons (KISS Frontman), Famke Janssen (X-Men, GoldenEye), Paul Bettany (A Beautiful Mind, The Avengers), Rooker’s fellow Guardians of the Galaxy star Sean Gunn (“Gilmore Girls”), the “Riverdale” foursome of K.J. Apa, Lili Reinhart, Camila Mendes and Cole Sprouse and many others.
